ReMoKey

Two apps.
You need both.

ReMoKey is a pair: a menu-bar app on the Mac, and the app on your iPhone that drives it. Neither does anything by itself.

ReMoKey for Mac

Version 1.2 · macOS 14.0 or later

Available
Download the DMGApple silicon and Intel
  • Signed with a Developer ID, notarised by Apple and stapled — it opens without a Gatekeeper warning.
  • Updates itself, checking about once a day. Because the signature and bundle stay put, macOS keeps your Accessibility grant across updates.
  • Lives in the menu bar. Once setup is done there is no Dock icon and no window in your way.
After it downloads
  1. Open the DMG and drag ReMoKey for Mac to Applications.
  2. Launch it. Setup opens on first run.
  3. Grant Accessibility. Without it the Mac receives your input and ignores it — and macOS only offers the prompt once, so if you dismissed it, setup switches to a button that opens System Settings.
  4. Choose “Pair new device…” from the menu-bar icon, then open ReMoKey on your iPhone.

Older versions and release notes are on the releases page.

In review

Not on the App Store yet. It is with Apple for review.

There is no public beta link either — TestFlight is currently limited to internal testing, so there is nothing here that would actually install for you. Rather than park a button that fails, this space stays empty until it works.

When it goes live, a download button and a scannable code appear here, and the front page changes with it.

Want a nudge when it ships? Mail support@remokey.app.

Trouble getting set up? Support covers the Accessibility grant, devices that don’t appear, and how to report a bug from inside the app.
